Science Enrichment Program
See how examining tracks and traces can help bring the bad guys to justice. Discover how detectives collect evidence to pursue and capture criminals. Find out about the differences between physical and circumstantial evidence. Experiment with the effectiveness of eyewitness testimony. Learn how to lift and match the whorls and loops of fingerprints. Examine pieces to see if it is easy to spot a counterfeit or forgery. Write and read secret codes.
Try to follow a trajectory path. Learn about the importance of accident reconstruction in determining what happened and who is at fault. Extract real DNA and learn how forensic science helps to solve the mystery of who-dun-it. Mrs. Joan Batson will lead this exciting enrichment series.
