Batson Independent Education believes the family should have the control to make the decisions that will be best for them. We advise families in making informed choices in education that best suit their philosophies, abilities, and needs. Batson Independent Education offers guidance in communication with schools, submitting paperwork, and meeting requirements regarding homeschooling or special needs education. Information on resources that are available is provided.
Batson Independent Education offers a wide variety of programs and support for families in search of fulfilling their child’s needs. Individualized tutoring with acceleration or remediation is available as necessary. We provide enrichment classes for gifted and homeschool students. We have programming for Boy and Girl Scouts to help meet requirements for earning badges.
Group classes are open for enrollment at various times and locations. Smaller groups may book individual or a series of classes. Field trips to local sites of interest, such as the Carnegie Museum of Natural History or the Appalachian Rock Shop, are also available on request. Subjects offered include Science, History, Language Arts, and Mathematics.
