Batson Independent Education offers support for gifted students and their families. We assist parents in understanding their child’s unique needs. Giftedness is often overlooked or misunderstood.

We help families obtain information about the programs offered at their school and other resources that are available. We provide assistance in understanding the school’s responsibility in meeting their child’s needs. We offer advice for communicating with the school regarding testing, evaluations, compiling an IEP, and implementing instruction specifically designed for their child.

Batson Independent Education offers programs that provide enrichment and acceleration based on individual need. Programs are available that explore subjects of interest to the student that are not offered at their school. Enrichment classes are also available to expand on subjects presented at school. Classes can be held as a single exploration of a topic or as a series of instruction.
